Falls Church City public schools have been ranked as the best school district in Virginia, according to Niche's ranking of 11,820 school districts across the country. The division came in at fifth place, with Arlington public schools and Fairfax County public schools following closely behind. The governor's school was named the best public high school in Virginia, with 25 other Northern Virginia schools making the top 25 list. The Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) scored the lowest of all math, reading, and science school districts that had similar ratings in the SES.
The platform said its rankings were created to provide families with valuable information, both quantitative and qualitative, about schools in their area or in a neighborhood with which they are not yet familiar. LCPS students, randomly selected from each participating high school, achieved a very high level of SES on average. The Loudoun County Public Schools Administrative Building houses the administrative office of the county school system. According to Niche, a web-based ranking and review service, Loudoun County public schools rank fifth among the best public school districts in Virginia.
